He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ He frowned and then turned away 1 Because the blind man came unto him. 2 for how can you know that he might seek to purify himself, 3 or receive some (Quranic) advice which would benefit him. 4 Yet you pay attention 5 So you are after him! 6 And you have nothing to lose if he does not become pure. 7 But as to him who came to you running. 8 And is also fearful (of God), 9 Of him you are neglectful and divert your attention to another, 10 By no means! Verily it is an admonition. 11 For any one who desires to bear it in mind, 12 (It is) in Records held (greatly) in honour (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 13 most exalted and purified, 14 In the hands of scribes 15 noble, pious. 16 Cursed be man! how ungrateful is he! 17 From what stuff hath He created him? 18 From a drop of liquid; He created him and then set several measures for him. 19 then the way eased for him, 20 Then He causes him to die, and puts him in his grave; 21 then, He will raise him when He wills. 22 Yet man declines to do His bidding. 23 Let the human being think about (how We produce) his food. 24 We poured out the rains abundantly, 25 Then We split the earth properly. 26 And caused to grow within it grain 27 And Grapes and nutritious plants, 28 Olives and dates, 29 and dense orchards, 30 And fruits and grass, 31 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 32 But when there comes the Deafening Blast 33 On that day man will run away from his brother. 34 And his mother and his father 35 And his wife and his sons; 36 On that day, each one has just one issue, which is enough for him. 37 On that day faces will be bright as dawn, 38 laughing, rejoicing at glad tidings. 39 And many will be dust-begrimed, 40 Darkness shall cover them. 41 Those! they are the infidels, the ungodly. 42
Almighty God's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
