He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 Because there came to him the blind man (interrupting). 2 What made you think that he will not grow in virtue, 3 Or be reminded and the remembrance would benefit him? 4 As for him who is not in want of any thing, 5 you attended to him, 6 Whereas it is not on thee that he is not cleansed. 7 but as for one who comes to you, eagerly 8 and in awe [of God] 9 You neglect. 10 Assuredly this is a reminder 11 So whoever wishes may remember it. 12 Inscribed in Writs honoured, 13 most exalted and purified, 14 In the hands of scribes (angels). 15 Noble and righteous. 16 Cursed is man; how disbelieving is he. 17 [Does man ever consider] out of what substance [God] creates him? 18 Of a sperm-drop He created him, and determined him, 19 Then He eased the way for him; 20 Then He causes him to die, and puts him in his grave; 21 then, He will raise him when He wills. 22 Indeed, he has not fulfilled that which He has ordered him. 23 Let man reflect on the food he eats. 24 How We pour water in showers 25 Then We cracked the earth open under pressure (of germination) 26 And cause the grain to grow therein 27 And grapes and clover plants (i.e. green fodder for the cattle), 28 and the olive, and the palm, 29 And gardens of dense shrubbery 30 and fruits and fodder 31 as provision for you and for your cattle to enjoy. 32 But when there comes the Deafening Blast 33 On the Day a man will flee from his brother 34 and from his mother and father, 35 his consort, his sons, 36 On that day, each one has just one issue, which is enough for him. 37 [Some] faces, that Day, will be bright - 38 Laughing, rejoicing. 39 And many will be dust-begrimed, 40 Blackness will cover them. 41 It is they, the disbelievers, the sinners. 42
Almighty Allah's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
