Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the sun is covered, 1 the stars are made to fade away, 2 And when the mountains are removed 3 And when the pregnant she-camels shall be neglected; 4 And when wild animals are herded together. 5 when the seas are set boiling, 6 And when the souls are paired. 7 And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked 8 For what sin she was killed? 9 when the scrolls are unrolled, 10 the heavens are unveiled, 11 And when hell is lighted, 12 And when Paradise shall be brought near, 13 (Then) shall each soul know what it has put forward. 14 No indeed; I swear by the alternating stars 15 stars which are visible during the night 16 The closing night, 17 And the morning when it brightens, 18 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger 19 having power, with the Lord of the Throne secure, 20 [the word] of one to be heeded, and worthy of trust! 21 And your companion is not gone mad. 22 he truly beheld [the angel - beheld] him on the clear horizon; 23 he is not grudging of the Unseen. 24 Nor is this the word of a stoned satan. 25 Whither, then, will you go? 26 Verily, this (the Quran) is no less than a Reminder to (all) the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 27 Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. 28 but will you shall not, unless God wills, the Lord of all Being. 29
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
