Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 when the seas are made to burst forth, 3 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered, 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. 10 noble, recording, 11 They know whatever you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 And they will not be able to keep away therefrom. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
