Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 when the seas swarm over, 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 in whatever form He pleased? 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 who know of all that you do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 whereas, behold, the wicked will indeed be in a blazing fire 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
