Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars have fallen and scattered; 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 when the tombs are overthrown, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 They know all that you do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 They will burn in it on the Day of Judgement, 15 And never therefrom will they be absent. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
