The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 And [by] the witness and what is witnessed, 3 destroyed were the people of the trench, 4 The people of the fuelled blazing fire. 5 when they were seated over it 6 And were themselves the witnesses of what they did to the believers. 7 And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised, 8 and the One to whom belongs the heavens and the earth. God is the Witness of all things. 9 Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 Performer of what He desires. 16 Has the story reached thee, of the forces- 17 of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 But those who disbelieve are engaged in denial. 19 And Allah, all unseen, surroundeth them. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
