The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the heaven adorned with big stars. 1 by the Promised Day, 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 to watch what they were doing to the believers, 7 Against these they had no grudge except that they believed in Allah, the Most Mighty, the Most Praiseworthy, 8 Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things. 9 Surely those who tormented the believing men and the believing women and then did not repent, theirs shall be the chastisement of Hell, and theirs shall be the chastisement of burning. 10 Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success. 11 The grip of your Lord is severe indeed! 12 Surely He it is Who originates and reproduces, 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 in sublime almightiness enthroned, 15 Executor of His own will. 16 Hast thou received the story of the hosts, 17 of the Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Yet those who deny the truth persist in denial. 19 God encompasses them from all sides. 20 In fact it (what they deny) is the Noble Qur’an. 21 (Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet)! 22
