The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 And the promised day, 2 And by the witness and that whereunto he beareth testimony, 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 Against these they had no grudge except that they believed in Allah, the Most Mighty, the Most Praiseworthy, 8 and the One to whom belongs the heavens and the earth. God is the Witness of all things. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 (But) for those who believe and do good works, for them there are Gardens underneath which rivers flow that is the Great Victory! 11 The grip of your Lord is indeed severe, 12 He it is Who creates for the first time and He it is Who will create again, 13 He is the All-forgiving, the Most Loving One, 14 The Lord of the glorious Throne, 15 Doer of whatsoever He intendeth. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Of Pharaoh and the Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 in a guarded tablet. 22
