The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the heaven and the Morning Star 1 and what could make you know what it is that comes in the night? 2 (It is a nightly radiant star). 3 No human soul but hath a guardian over it. 4 So let man see from what he is created! 5 He was created from a fluid, ejected, 6 Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs: 7 Indeed Allah is Able to return him. 8 On the Day when secrets are disclosed, 9 Then will (man) have no power, nor any helper. 10 By heaven of the returning rain, 11 and the replenishing earth, 12 surely it is a decisive word; 13 And it is not a frivolity. 14 Verily they are plotting a plot. 15 and so am I: 16 So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile. 17
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
