The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By heaven and the night-star! 1 And what will make you to know what At-Tariq (night-comer) is? 2 The very brightly shining star! 3 No soul is there but hath over it a watcher. 4 So let man see from what he is created! 5 He is created of water pouring forth, 6 That is issued from between the backs and the ribs. 7 Lo! He verily is Able to return him (unto life) 8 on the Day when all secrets will be laid bare, 9 Then man will have no power or any helper. 10 By the heavens, ever-revolving, 11 And by oath of the earth which flourishes with it. 12 surely it is a decisive word; 13 it is not a jest. 14 Verily, they are but plotting a plot (against you O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)). 15 but I too plan against them. 16 Therefore respite the unbelievers, and delay them for a while. 17
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
