The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
