Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
