The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who created and shaped, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
