The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
