The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
