The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
