The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
