The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
