The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
