Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
