The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
