The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
