The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
