Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Has the story reached thee of the overwhelming (Event)? 1 On that day the faces of some people will be humbly cast down, 2 Toiling, weary, 3 They will enter in the hot blazing Fire, 4 given to drink from a boiling spring. 5 No food for them save bitter thorn-fruit 6 which will neither nourish nor satisfy hunger. 7 (Other) faces on that day shall be happy, 8 Glad for their effort past, 9 They shall be in a Garden lofty: 10 wherein they will not hear any vain talk. 11 Wherein is a gushing spring, 12 Therein are thrones raised high, 13 And drinking-cups ready placed, 14 cushions ranged, 15 and well spread carpets. 16 Will they not regard the camels, how they are created? 17 and on the sky, how it is raised aloft, 18 And at the mountains, how they are rooted and fixed firm? 19 And the earth, how it is spread? 20 Remind them; you are surely a reminder. 21 You are not a dictator over them. 22 Other than him who turns his back and denies, 23 Allah will chastise him with the most terrible chastisement. 24 Indeed, to Us is their return. 25 and verily, It is for Us to call them to account. 26
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
