Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Have you received the news of the Enveloper? 1 Faces on that day humbled, 2 Labouring, striving hard. 3 Scorched by burning fire, 4 Made to drink water from the boiling hot spring. 5 No food will there be for them but a bitter Dhari' 6 Which doth not nourish nor release from hunger. 7 Faces on that Day shall be delighted, 8 With their effort [they are] satisfied 9 in a garden sublime, 10 Where they shall hear no (word) of vanity: 11 Countless springs will flow therein, 12 Therein shall be couches elevated! 13 And goblets set at hand 14 and arranged cushions 15 And carpets spread around. 16 Look they not at the camels, how they are created? 17 And the sky: how it was raised high? 18 And the mountains – how they have been established? 19 And how the earth was outstretched? 20 So remind them (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)), you are only a one who reminds. 21 thou art not charged to oversee them. 22 But whoever turns back and denies the truth, 23 Allah will chastise him with the greatest chastisement. 24 for behold, unto Us will be their return, 25 Then, surely, it is for Us to call them to account. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
