The Town (Al-Balad)
20 verses, revealed in Mecca after Q (Qaaf) before The Comet (Al-Taareq)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ I do call to witness this City;- 1 For you (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) are in this city. 2 And the begetter and whom he begot. 3 That We created man in toil and trouble. 4 Does he think that no one has power over him? 5 And he saith: I have destroyed vast wealth: 6 Deemest he that none beholdeth him? 7 Did We not give him two eyes, 8 And a tongue and two lips? 9 And did We not show him the two highroads (of good and evil)? 10 But he has not broken through the difficult pass. 11 What could let you know what the height is! 12 It is freeing someone's neck from slavery; 13 or giving food on a day of hunger 14 to an orphan near of kin 15 or a needy man in misery; 16 And to be of those who believe and exhort one another to perseverance and exhort one another to pity. 17 These are the People of the Right Hand. 18 But those who deny Our revelations are the people of the left hand: 19 and the Fire will close in on them. 20
Almighty Allah's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color, where pages randomly generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice.
Click or tap on "random" to go to any random page. Click or tap the triangle to the left of "random" to go to a random page before the current page, or the triangle to the right to go to a random page after the current page.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
