The Sun (Al-Shams)
15 verses, revealed in Mecca after Destiny (Al-Qadr) before The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the sun and his morning brightness 1 And by the moon as it follows it (the sun); 2 and by the day as it reveals its glory 3 And the night when it draws a veil over it, 4 Consider the sky and its wondrous make, 5 The earth and its spreading out, 6 By the soul and Him Who propertioned it, 7 and imbued it with (the consciousness of) its evil and its piety: 8 He has succeeded who purifies it, 9 And he who confines it will surely come to grief. 10 (The tribe of) Thamud denied (the truth) in their rebellious pride, 11 When the most wretched of them was sent forth. 12 So the Noble Messenger of Allah said to them, “Stay away from the she camel of Allah, and from its turn to drink.” 13 But they belied him, and hamstrung her. So their Lord crushed them for their sin and leveled it (their village). 14 He does not fear the consequence. 15
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
