Hizb 46

Jonah too was one of the messengers. 139 Recall what time he ran away unto a laden ship. 140 Then he joined the lots, and was of the condemned. 141 and the fish swallowed him while he was blaming himself. 142 and had he not been among those who exalt (Allah), 143 he would have tarried in its belly until the day they shall be raised; 144 ۞ We cast him out of the fish unto dry land and he was sick. 145 and We caused to grow over him a tree of gourds. 146 And We sent him towards a hundred thousand people, in fact more. 147 and they believed; so We gave them enjoyment for a while. 148 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Has thy Lord daughters, and they sons? 149 Or created We the angels females while they were present? 150 Is it not that they say, from their own invention, 151 "God has begotten (children)?" They are liars indeed! 152 “Has he chosen daughters instead of sons?” 153 What is amiss with you and your judgment? 154 What, will you not remember? 155 Or, is there for you a clear warranty 156 Bring your book if what you say is true. 157 They claim that He has kinship with the jinn, yet the jinn themselves know that they will be produced before Him [for judgement]. 158 limitless is God in His glory, above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 159 Not thus, however, [behave] God's true servants: 160 Therefore you and all what you worship. (The disbelievers and their deities.) 161 You cannot make anyone rebel against Him. 162 Save him who is to burn in hell. 163 "There is not one of us who does not have his appointed place," (declare the angels.) 164 And most surely we are they who draw themselves out in ranks, 165 And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah." 166 And indeed they (Arab pagans) used to say; 167 “If only we had the Reminder which had been granted to the people of yore 168 We would have been the chosen servants of Allah." 169 Yet now (that it has come) they refuse to believe in it; but they will come to know soon. 170 And certainly Our word has already gone forth in respect of Our servants, the apostles: 171 That undoubtedly, only they will be helped. 172 And most surely Our host alone shall be the victorious ones. 173 So turn thou away from them for a little while, 174 And see them thou; they themselves shall presently see. 175 Would they hasten on Our doom? 176 Then, when it descends into their courtyard (i.e. near to them), evil will be the morning for those who had been warned! 177 And turn away from them for some time. 178 and see; and they too shall soon see. 179 Glorified be your Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they attribute unto Him! 180 Peace be upon the Messengers 181 It is only God, the Lord of the Universe, who deserves all praise. 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
