The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By oath of the late morning, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11
