The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the white forenoon 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan, so provided you shelter? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
