Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
