We verily created man and We know what his soul whispereth to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein. 16 When the two receivers receive, seated on the right and on the left. 17 He does not utter a single word, without a ready recorder seated next to him. 18 And when the agony of death comes in truth (they will say): 'This is what you have been trying to avoid' 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown: that will be the Day whereof Warning (had been given). 20 And every soul shall come, with it a driver and a witness. 21 “You were indeed neglectful of this, so We have removed the veil for you, and your eyesight is sharp this day.” 22 And his accompanying angel said, “This is the record of your deeds, available with me.” 23 Cast ye twain into Hell every person rebellious, contumacious. 24 hinderer of good, transgressor, causing others to doubt, 25 and has set up another deity with Allah. Hurl him into the grievous torment.” 26 ۞ His companion will say: Our Lord! I did not lead him into inordinacy but he himself was in a great error. 27 Allah will say: "Dispute not in front of Me, I had already, in advance, sent you the threat. 28 The Word cannot be changed with Me; I do not wrong My worshipers' 29
