Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the white forenoon 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan, so provided you shelter? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
