Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

۞ Did We not widen your bosom? 1 and relieve you of the burden 2 Which weighed down thy back. 3 And exalted your fame? 4 So indeed with hardship is ease. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So when you are free work diligently, 7 And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
