Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 relieved you of the burden 2 Which had left you devoid of hope, 3 And exalted thy fame? 4 Indeed, hardship is followed by ease, 5 Most certainly, there is ease with hardship. 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 And to your Lord direct [your] longing. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
