Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ (Muhammad), have We not comforted your heart, 1 and relieved you of your burden 2 which had been a heavy weight upon your back 3 And [have We not] raised thee high in dignity? 4 So verily, with the hardship, there is relief, 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 and turn to your Lord with longing. 8
