Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up your breast 1 and relieve you of the burden 2 the burden that weighed down thy back? 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 So verily, with the hardship, there is relief, 5 Certainly, after every difficulty there comes relief. 6 Hence, when thou art freed [from distress,] remain steadfast, 7 And to your Lord direct [your] longing. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
