Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not lifted up your heart, 1 and relieve you of the burden 2 Which had weighed upon your back 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 After every difficulty there is relief. 5 indeed, hardship is followed by ease! 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 And incline towards your Lord. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
