Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

۞ Have We not opened forth for thee thy breast? 1 And relieve you of the burden – 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 And exalted thy fame? 4 So verily, with the hardship, there is relief, 5 With hardship indeed there is ease. 6 So when you are free work diligently, 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
