The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the fig, by the olive, 1 and by the Mount Sinai, 2 And this City of security,- 3 We have indeed created man in the best of mould, 4 Then We reduced him to the lowest of the low, 5 Save those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous deeds, then they shall have a reward without end (Paradise). 6 What, then, [O man,] could henceforth cause thee to give the lie to this moral law? 7 Is not Allah the Best of judges? 8
