The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists), 1 Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood: 2 Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous, 3 Who taught by the pen, 4 The One Who taught man all what he did not know. 5 And yet, but yet man is rebellious, 6 Because he considers himself self-sufficient. 7 Verily, to thy Lord is the return (of all). 8 Did you see him who forbids 9 A slave when he prayeth? 10 Tell me, if he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is on the guidance (of Allah)? 11 or if he commands others to maintain piety!? 12 Have you seen if he denies and turns away - 13 does he not know that Allah sees? 14 Nay, but if he cease not We will seize him by the forelock - 15 The lying, sinful forelock - 16 So let him summon his helpmates; 17 We too shall summon the guards of Hell. 18 Beware! Do not obey him, but bow in adoration and draw near (to your Lord). ۩ 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
