Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

We have indeed sent down the Qur’an in the Night of Destiny. 1 And what could make thee conceive what it is, that Night of Destiny? 2 (Worship) on the Night of Destiny is better than (worship) for a thousand months. 3 in hosts descend in it the angels, bearing divine inspiration by their Sustainer's leave; from all [evil] that may happen 4 (The night is) Peace until the rising of the dawn. 5
