Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Those who disbelieved from among the people of the Book and the associaters could not break off, until there had come unto them the evidence. 1 a messenger from God, reciting to them pure scriptures, 2 therein true Books. 3 Now those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime did break up their unity [of faith] after such an evidence of the truth had come to them. 4 And they have been commanded no more than this: To worship Allah, offering Him sincere devotion, being true (in faith); to establish regular prayer; and to practise regular charity; and that is the Religion Right and Straight. 5 Surely the unbelievers among the people of the Book and the idolaters, will abide in the fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures. 6 But those who believe, and do righteous deeds, those are the best of creatures; 7 Their reward with Allah will be gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allah being pleased with them and they with Him. That is for whoever has feared his Lord. 8
