The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
When the earth will be shaken with a mighty shaking, 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - 3 on that Day it will narrate its account, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
