The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Quake (Al-Zalzalah). Sent down in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
