The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8
