The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
