The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 on that Day it will narrate its account, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
