The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
